West Hampstead customer approached Innovative Designs enquiring about the costs for designing and installing a fitted kitchen for their newly purchased contemporary apartment.
On our design visit, we noticed the entrance space with jackets and coats hanging and even lying on the floor and shoes lying everywhere. Client was struggling to keep the shoes and jackets in the entrance.
The apartment was a contemporary apartment with open plan kitchen and living/dining. Client wanted to maximise the space in the kitchen, all the same, they wanted to integrate the fitted cabinets into the existing layout.
Our designers went through the requirements, and we made a storage solution starting from the entrance to the kitchen blending all together with the existing layout
The apartment had a clean, minimal decorations with light walls and wooden accents. Client wanted the fitted kitchen clutter free, clean lines, and good use of available space. We suggested a bespoke storage solution combining the entrance, open plan kitchen/dining and they were interested to see the design.
We proposed a modern, handle less fitted kitchen in soft matte finishes paired with warm wooden feel surfaces. The kitchen was designed to feel open and integrated with the dining/living area while remaining practical and functional. For the entrance, we created a custom built wardrobe with open shoe rack and a seating area, and concealed storage, giving plenty of storage for their coats, jackets, and even seasonal clothes.
This fitted furniture project is ideal for contemporary apartments and city homes where intelligent use of space, elegance, and low maintenance living are priorities. The entrance unit brings order to an often-underutilised area, while the fitted kitchen encourages the occupiers to make its use nice.
