Design Requirements:
Our clients contacted us asking for a custom-built TV media unit to match the interiors of the living room in their Crystal Palace home. They wanted an elegant, end-to-end design that would transform their living area into a statement piece, reflecting both opulence and modern sophistication. The media unit needed to integrate their large TV and soundbar seamlessly while providing ample storage and display options.
The TV media unit was designed to span the entire width of the wall, from floor to ceiling, creating a striking focal point in the room. Constructed from rich, dark wood, the unit was tailored to match the existing flooring, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the space.
Full-Length Open Cabinets with LED Lights:
Flanking the central area, the media unit features full-length open cabinets on each side. These cabinets, illuminated with subtle LED lighting, provide a perfect display area for books, art pieces, and decorative items. The warm glow from the lights highlights the dark wood’s rich texture, enhancing the room’s luxurious ambiance.
Central Granite Backdrop:

Beneath the TV, six under-storage cabinets were incorporated into the design. The two end cabinets on either side are longer than the middle four, adding a dynamic visual element to the otherwise symmetrical design. These cabinets provide ample storage for media equipment, accessories, and other items, keeping the living room organised and tidy.
